Who We Are
Rosie's Angels Foundation was born from my own life experiences and a calling from God to serve pregnant girls and women facing difficult circumstances. We are committed to providing safe place where every mother is treated with dignity, compassion, practical support, and the love of Christ.

Meet Rose Mitchell
I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and my journey has been shaped by both hardship and hope. At the age of 16, I became pregnant and experienced homelessness, an experience that forever changed my heart.
Years later, after the birth of my second child, I was once again without a place to live until a kind friend opened her home to me and my children.
Those difficult seasons planted a dream in my heart: to create a safe place where pregnant women could find shelter, support, practical resources, and hope. That dream became Rosie's Angels Foundation, a faith-based maternity home dedicated to helping women during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Today, my mission is to walk alongside women with compassion, encouragement, and the love of Christ, helping them build a stronger future for themselves and their children.

How We Support Mothers
Stage 1 -Pregnancy Home
Stage 2 - Mother & Baby Home
A safe, Christ-centered home where pregnant girls and women receive compassionate support through their pregnancy. During this stage, residents are connected with prenatal care, providers and provided transportation to medical appointments, nutritious meals, life skills training, parenting education, emotional encouragement, and practical resources. Our goal is to help every mother experience hope, stability, and the love of Christ as she prepares to welcome her baby.
After the birth of their baby, mothers continue receiving a safe, Christ-centered place to live while building the skills and confidence needed for long-term success. During this stage, residents receive parenting education, newborn care support, life-skills training, financial literacy, educational and employment assistances, emotional encouragement, and spiritual guidance. Our gold is to help every mother develop the stability and independence needed to create a strong, healthy future for herself and her child.
Stage 3 - Independent Living Program
As mothers transition into independent living, Rosies Angels continue to provide guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support as they build a stable future for themselves and their children. During this stage, residents receive continued mentoring, budgeting and financial guidance, career and educational support, community resources connections, and spiritual encouragement. Our goal is to empower every mother to live confidently, independently, and with hope as she creates a strong foundation for her family future.
